Aleksandar Tomašević is an Assistant Professor at the University of Novi Sad, where he earned his PhD in 2019. His research integrates computational methods into social science, focusing on network psychometrics and emotion analysis. Collaborating with experts across disciplines, Aleksandar’s work encompasses statistical modeling and machine learning in behavioral sciences, emotion recognition in political communication, and the evolution of trust in online communities. He is the developer and maintainer of the ‘transforEmotion’ R package for multimodal sentiment analysis using transformer models. His research has appeared in journals such as EPJ Data Science, Current Psychology, and Personality and Individual Differences. ​
