Srđan Božović is a Principal Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he works on the Azure SQL platform. His current focus is at the intersection of databases and AI — applying LLMs, and agentic workflows to large-scale engineering problems, from code intelligence and test reliability to production livesite and developer productivity. Over the past year he has been driving AI-first initiatives within the SQL organization, including efforts to use AI agents and semantic models to scale code comprehension and improvements across one of Microsoft’s largest codebases. He enjoys turning emerging AI techniques into practical engineering leverage — and sharing what worked, what didn’t, and why.
